Freeze dried bloodworms do not have parasites, they are killed off during the freeze dry process, and don't contain any other illness as well. That's one of the big pros of feeding freeze dried bloodworms. The downside is they aren't as nutritional as live bloodworms or any other insects, so it's good to feed them to your reptiles/amphibians in moderation.

They are usually fed to fish not reptiles/amphibians, sorry for the confusion LOL... Also feeding them freeze dried is a lot better than live if you're feeding fish. With reptiles/amphibians I would recommend other insects.
