Yes, you have to thaw bloodworms before feeding them to your fish so that they are able to eat them and digest them properly. You should also nudge a tiny bit at them so they break apart a tiny bit. This should only take a couple minutes or so depending on the size of bloodworm block you have. Your fish will really love you if you do this... hahaha.
