No, chinchillas can't eat almonds because chinchillas cannot digest the fat inside almonds easily, the same goes for other nuts like pecans, sunflower seeds, cashews, pistachios, hazel nuts and Brazil nuts. These nuts are all full of fats that chinchillas aren't good at digesting and shouldn't be fed to your chinchilla at all.
