No, chinchillas shouldn't eat rabbit food because rabbit food isn't the best food that you can feed to a chinchilla. A rabbit and chinchilla are both of different species and have different needs. The exotic pet community isn't fully unanimous with this verdict, but I am because it makes the most sense to me.
