If caught in the early stages, MBD recovery for a crested gecko includes introducing more calcium and D3 into their diet along with providing access to daily REAL sunshine or UVB. You have to ensure that their diet has enough calcium to help them get out of the deficit that they are in. This means providing calcium dusted insects and liquid calcium inside their powdered diet.
