  1. No, goldfish and betta fish shouldn't be fed the same flakes. They are two different species and they both have very different nutritional needs.
  2. Any type of fish that is small, easy to purchase and is nutritious is a good feeder fish.
  3. Yes, a ball python theoretically could kill a human, although I'm not sure that they would 100% do so unless they were very hungry.
  4. Those are all some really cool snake names dude!
  5. Dominant ball python genes include Ashen, Adder, Desert, Congo, Eramosa, Het Daddy and Harlequin. You can see which ones are dominant and which ones are recessive by looking at the database that Morphpedia has. (Source)
  6. The lesser gene in ball pythons is a base, normal morph that usually presents itself as a high yellow and tan coloration. It is typically the Mojave type and it varies in different coloration patterns. Hopefully this makes sense for you!
  7. The hidden gene woma ball python is a great morph to have, it is sort of like the spider morph pattern. The hidden gene woma also gives your ball python the "wobble" which is a genetic condition which causes your ball python to have a wobbly head. There's a big debate on if it should be allowed or not. (Source)
  8. To spot the spider gene in ball pythons, all you have to do is look for the word "bee" in the morph name of the snake. If you're unsure of the name, then just ask the seller if he knows if there is or isn't a spider gene in the specific ball python that you want.
  9. There are a good many codominant ball python genes, examples include: Pastel ball pythons Fire ball pythons Yellow belly ball pythons Banana ball pythons Hopefully this information helps you!
  10. The regular ball python pattern is characterized by having a darker base color such as brown, then it has blackish spots all over the body which makes the ball python look pretty cool. This is a regular everyday morph and it really isn't anything too special.
  11. The pastel ball python pattern is quite common amongst reptile keepers, the pattern is characterized by having a high contrast yellow color behind a blackish/brownish spotted or striped pattern. Pastel ball pythons also tend to have greener eyes which help tell them apart in the clutch. (Source)
  12. The list of all ball python morphs without a spider gene would be too long to include in this reply here, but generally speaking if you want a all python without a spider gene, then just look for morphs that don't have the word "bee" inside of the morph name.
  13. You can see ball pythons develop a pattern in the egg once they reach the month and a half to five week development time frame, it's during this time that you can see the specific ball pythons pattern inside of the egg. It's best to check it only once and a while though, you definitely don't want to do it every day.
  14. There are a lot of reduced pattern ball python morphs that are listed for sale. All you have to do is go and search for them and you'll find them.
  15. The ball python color patterns vary depending on the type of genetics that your ball python has, there are a huge number of ball python color patterns, otherwise known as morphs. Most cool morphs that are rare and in demand can sell upwards of $10,000 USD. This stuff really is no joke.
