  1. It is very expensive my friend.
  2. They can be pets yes, but I definitely wouldn't recommend that you have one as a pet because they grow to be very large and the maintenance of them is very high. I would recommend having a different reptile as a pet because gators are truly hard to keep as pets.
  3. Nope, wouldn't recommend owning a alligator as a pet. They grow to be huge, they require lots of food and eventually they will be large enough to eat you.
  4. The crested gecko substrate layer should be at least somewhere between 2 and 4 inches total. You don't want it to be too thin, but also you don't want it to be too thick either. Ideally you should use coconut fiber as the substrate or some other similar topsoil, this is good because it holds humidity really well.
  5. Yes, a male crested gecko does have anal glands, they tend to lick them in order to clean them. Really nothing to special about them and nothing to really pay attention to.
  6. Mississippi map turtles seem like really cool pets. Anyone here actually own one?
  7. Thanks for the replies, might have to think twice about getting a tortoise... hahaha they will probably outlive me!
  8. Really cool online forum, a lot more tight nit than other communities like reddit.
  9. It's rare, but possible lol. Just be careful around them.
  10. Anything that you post I'll probably end up replying to or at least reading.
  11. It takes around 4 years total for your ball python to reach its full size.
  12. It may take a while, but usually they get used to handling. They are generally pretty good snakes for handling.
  13. Yea, sometimes you'll see rabbits sleep with their eyes open. It's really cute actually!
